How to Insert Music From a Flash Drive Into a PowerPoint
- 1). Plug the flash drive into the computer's USB port.
- 2). Open PowerPoint and click within the slide that you'll add the music to.
- 3). Click "Insert" on the menu ribbon. On the far right, within the "Media" tab, click the downward facing arrow under "Audio." Click "Audio from File" from the menu. This opens a new window to locate the flash drive on the computer.
- 4). Click the flash drive then the music file within the drive. Click "Insert." The "Audio Tools" menu is now active within PowerPoint and a sound icon appears in the slide.
- 5). Click "Playback" within "Audio Tools." Use the options under "Playback" to set the volume, trim the music, choose where it fades in and out and to select if it will play automatically or when clicked.
