Wash

• Remove any fingerprints, oil, dust or other debris from the PS2 game disk. Place some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or chamois cloth, and clean the disk by gently wiping in a straight line from the center to the edge. Do not rub back and forth; stick to a straight line only. Run the disk under cool water to rinse off the rubbing alcohol. Do not dry the disk.
  
  

Buff

• With the disk still wet, place a dab of non-gel toothpaste or brass cleaner on the disk. With a chamois or similar non-abrasive cloth, very gently buff the disc, spreading the toothpaste or brass cleaner over the disk by putting your finger through the center and turning the disk against the cloth. Do not rub in small circles, follow the length of the disk. Spin the disk several times to buff, but do not apply too much pressure.
  
  

Rinse and Dry

• Thoroughly rinse the disk in cool or lukewarm water. Make sure you have removed all residue of the toothpaste or brass cleaner from the disk. Dry thoroughly with a chamois or non-abrasive cloth. Don't allow it to air dry, or water spots could develop. Make sure the disk is completely dry before use.
