Keeping your Networkers Motivated to Sponsor
The common thing about Network Marketing is that
when a program is first launched, the sponsoring rate
is very high and that's not uncommon. People jump
aboard to ride the wave and promote the hype. But
after awhile the sponsoring drops off or stops altogether.
When that happens your business starts to move in
a downward spiral.
In a short amount of time people lose their motivation
for one reason or another. Maybe they are searching
for the next latest and greatest new product or program.
Then there are some others who may join a program
without a clear understanding of how the program works
or how you can earn money as a networker. Then as
they struggle to build a downline they get frustrated and
quit.
In real life people have problems, those problems may
comsume their time and cause them to just walk away
from their home business for awhile or even have them
quit. Whatever is going on in their life, they lose their
motivation to pursue the business. So as a leader it's
up to you to find ways to motivate them to continue to
build the business.
When anyone first joins a networking business they
are motivated by their own dreams and goals. Maybe
it's more time they want or more money to travel. It
could be just plain freedom. The important thing is
they were motivated to join and change something in
their life.
When they go stale in their business it's up to the leader to
move them into action by having maybe a contest where
the winner could get free co-op shares or free leads to
build their business. So kind of incentive to move them.
A small reminder of Why they joined in the first place.
Some companies provide more bonus as you move up
the payscale and even car bonus for the top promoters.
I find as a leader the best way is to keep in constant contact
and provided the best support you can. Plus always
appreciate your downline and show them with incentives
and acknowledgements. It's amazing the difference in
peoples attitudes when they feel and know they are
appreciated and valued.
