Communicating Around the World by Internet - Why Not Have a Go of It?
You can make new friends on the other side of the planet easy enough.
You will get to learn what their country is like, how their government works, what their lives entail, and all sorts of cool things.
Best of all, since it is by email, you do not have to worry much about time zones.
They'll email you back when they get a chance.
Not long ago, I met an interesting person in China, and I've corresponded with folks in Japan, Vietnam, Dubai, Australia, Philippines, and even Russia, pretty darn cool.
My last conversation with an Aussie, was quite interesting, especially when he told me to "Have a good day and I will take the time to respond to your comments tomorrow," and that was interesting because over down-under, it is already tomorrow.
And he is responding to me yesterday, so if he responds on his tomorrow, it will be my today, do you see that point? That's kind of funny considering everything there is opposite from here; opposite times of the day, opposite seasons of the year.
Yep, I'm up here and he is down there.
Day is night and night is day! Now, I know how the astronauts feel when they look down and wonder what time it is.
As they witness 16 day and night periods every 24-hours as they circle the Earth in orbit.
It's all relative, and they see no borders or man-made lines drawn in the sand or territorial disputes signifying nothing but controversy and chaos of which there is abundant opportunity for war or peace.
It's all a choice.
And being "Free to Choose" is always the best choice, or so someone once said.
Please consider all this.
