Delhi, the capital of India is dotted with spellbinding places to visit including mosques, forts, and monuments that are influenced by the long line of rulers who have their indelible imprints on architecture – Mughals, Lodhis, Sultanate and British to name just a few.

The contrast between rambling Old Delhi and well planned New Delhi is immense, and it's interesting to spend time exploring both. If you feel in need of some relaxation, just head to one of Delhi's flourishing landscaped garden. Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb, Jantar Mantar, Purana Qila, the National Museum, Red Fort, India Gate, Qutub Minar etc. are some of the most popular tourist places to visit in Delhi.
