NFC Championship Game

106 30
It's the Saints' Turn!

I have always loved living in New Orleans, especially this time of year. It's King Cake time, Carnival Ball time and soon the parades will be rolling every night. But this year is even wilder than normal, and that's saying a lot for Carnival time in New Orleans.

It's all because the New Orleans Saints will do something this Sunday that has never happened before in New Orleans.

They will host the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship game in our house. It all happens this Sunday at 5:40. The Superdome will be beyond noisy, beyond raucous, the Who Dat Nation will be over the top. I am totally confident the Saints will win and go on to the Superbowl. But, I'm not going to Miami, the big party will be here in New Orleans and that's where I'll be!

But I Digress

Before we go to the Superbowl, we get to play in the NFC Championship game. Given this is New Orleans, I'm sure there will be some who will begin tailgating today. But, the really big party starts Sunday afternoon. Here's a list of the pre-game activities.
