If you're having a Halloween party you need some entertainment to keep your guests amused. Since the weather is often quite cold and windy, sometimes even rainy during Halloween, it's best to play it safe and plan indoor games. Halloween games can range from silly to scary, and you should be sure to choose games which will be age appropriate for your guests. - This traditional Halloween game, is easily played indoors. Set up a large bin or ice bucket. Fill it with water and add dark food coloring such as a dark green, dark blue or black. Drop several apples into the bucket. Let guests one by one take turns bobbing for apples. If you'd prefer you can blindfold each guest so you don't need to dye the water.
- A variation of "pin the tail on the donkey" this one involves a poster of a witch. Hang up a witch poster. Each guests is blindfolded and given a "wart" that is sticky on the back. The guest has to try to put the wart on the tip of the witch's nose. The person whose wart is closest wins.
- Get some white paper bags. Put a different object in each bag. Then set up a strong light behind the line of bags. Turn out all other lights so the silhouette of the objects in the bag is shown. Let guests look at them and write down their guesses as to what is in each bag. The person with the most correct answers wins.
- Get two plastic skeletons and disassemble the parts then put a colored dot on each part. Color code the skeletons so each skeleton has one color. Hide all the parts around your home. Break the guests up into two groups and assign a color to each group. Send the groups around scavenging looking for the parts. The first group to find all the skeleton pieces and put the it back to together wins. For some additional fun paint the skeleton pieces with glow in the dark paint and make the scavenger hunt take place in the dark.
- Break your party guests up into groups and give each group a package of toilet paper. Have them choose one person in their group to wrap up like a mummy. Then have a mummy race where the "mummies" have to "run" to the finish line.
