    • 1). Like all exercises, make sure you have warmed up for 5-10 minutes beforehand. This will help increase blood flow to the muscles and decrease the chance of any injuries to your muscles.

    • 2). Place the small pillow or towel on the floor, and kneel on the towel. This will help protect your knees from damage as you perform the exercise.

    • 3). Place the Ab Slider in front of you, bend at the waist, and place your hands on the grips, which are located on both sides of the Ab Slider.

    • 4). Start rolling the Ab Slider away from body, while maintaining your grip and the position of your knees. As you move further away, keep your back and arms straight, doing most of your bending at the waist.

    • 5). As you move farther from your body, you will begin to feel tightening in your core (which consists of your abdominal and the upper part of your legs). Move as far away as you can without feeling pain, and then return to starting position.

    • 6). Repeat steps until your muscles are fatigued.
