Gus Hansen has had a terrible month so far, however in the last 24hours he has absolutely crushed Tom "Durrrr" Dwan and Di "UrinDanger" Dang at his private heads-up pot limit Omaha tables on Full Tilt Poker.
Gus managed to take $1.
1 million from Dwan and another $833k from Dang.
Tom "Durrrr" Dwan, The Dang brothers, Di and Hac and Phil "OMGclayAiken" Galfond have been sitting at Gus's tables since their inception waiting for him, they are either sitting/playing or on the waiting list.
no doubt a few of the "best" players in the world at the moment.
are they better players than Gus? probably.
Do they have the stomach and grit to withstand MULTI-MILLION dollar swings as Gus has to remain at the top? that has yet to be seen.
With the exception of Dwan the others have made it clear they have no interest in playing tough competition, they seek out lesser opponents, Will it be Gus or they who surrender? my humble opinion: the ladder!
