How to Put Music on a 30 Gigabyte iPod
- 1). Plug the iPod's USB connector cable into the bottom of the iPod. Insert the cable's opposite end into the computer's available USB port.
- 2). Double-click "iTunes" on your Windows PC's desktop, or click "iTunes" on your Mac's dock. Click the iPod's name in the side pane in iTunes to access the iPod's settings.
- 3). Click the Music tab, and click the "Sync Music" checkbox. Click "Entire music library" or "Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres" for automatic music synchronization.
- 4). Click "Sync" in the lower-right corner of iTunes to transfer your iTunes library to the iPod. The time it takes to completely synchronize your music depends on the size of your library.
- 1). Connect the iPod USB connector cable to your iPod and to the USB port on the computer.
- 2). Launch iTunes and click the iPod's name in the side panel in iTunes. Click "Summary" in iTunes, and click "Manually manage music and videos."
- 3). Click "Apply" in the lower-right corner of iTunes, and click the "Music" tab in the iTunes side menu.
- 4). Drag and drop the music from your iTunes library to the iPod's name. Click the eject button next to the iPod's name to safely disconnect the iPod from your computer.
