How to Sword Cancel in "Halo 3"
- 1). Equip the Energy Sword.
- 2). Place your character a distance away from your target. The space needs to be enough that you jump and run to him but not over the target.
- 3). Run towards your target player. Jump within three to four meters once close.
- 4). Wait for your reticle to turn red, then rapidly tap the "R," "X" and "A" buttons. If done correctly, you cancel your sword maneuver, allowing you to jump a very long distance.
- 5). Tap the "A" button when you land to slide across the ground, increasing your jumping distance further. Continue to press "A" each time you bounce back to the ground until you stop sliding.
