Judgment day, it's a day we long to know about.
Who will Jesus take when he comes? Jesus said He will come and say to the ones on the right hand "you have been blessed by your father, come take your inheritance, the kingdom (heaven).
Because you took care of His people, you fed the poor, you gave a stranger food to eat and a place to stay.
Jesus says to you if you have done these things, you have done them for me.
Do you realize what Jesus is saying...
Be kind to others and don't look down at them, God is watching you and what you do for others.
Don't please men, please God.
So my question to you is this...
Are you doing this? Do you visit someone who is sick? A friend or even a stranger that reaches out to you and asks for nothing but maybe your smile, a conversation.
Are you too busy for that? Why not try to see this as an opportunity to help your Lord because He needs you.
The world wraps you up into it, don't let it suffocate you so that you don't see the true meaning of life and what God wants you to do.
So what will he say to the Left side? Jesus says in Mathew 25:41 "Depart from me you who are cursed into the fire prepared for the devil and his angels".
Well I know which side I don't want to be on.
And I work on this daily by asking God to please forgive my sins and put an opportunity in front of me to serve.
remember He sees everything you do, you cannot hide and the wrath of God is not something you toil with.
Sins do not go unpunished.
So when the judgment day comes and you are standing in front of Jesus, which side do you want to be on?
