With a Remote

• 1). Set your television to a station displaying snow.
  
  
• 2). Turn the TV off and then back on.
  
  
• 3). Lower the volume to zero on either the remote or the TV.
  
  
• 4). Push and hold down the volume control on the TV, while at the same time holding down the zero button on the remote. A menu screen will pop up.
  
  
• 5). Scroll down the menu to the V-chip line.
  
  
• 6). Hold the volume button on the TV in the down position, while at the same time pressing the zero button on the remote. The screen will return to snow and the reset will be complete.
  
  

Without a Remote

• 1). Press the Menu key on the front of the TV.
  
  
• 2). Scroll down to the V-Chip Setup using either the volume control or channel buttons.
  
  
• 3). Follow the prompts within the V-Chip Setup menu to reset the chip.
