How do I Change Frequnecy on XM Radio?
- 1). Go to the United States Postal Service's website (see Resources). Click on the tab for ZIP code search by city. Type the names of cities in which you will listen to XM Radio. Write the ZIP codes on a sheet of paper for the cities.
- 2). Consult the Radio-Locator webpage (see Resources). Enter a ZIP code from your list into the "Enter Zip Code" box. Click on "Find My Best Frequency" underneath the ZIP code entry box. Write the frequency on your list of cities. Repeat this step for each ZIP code. Take the list with you when you travel.
- 3). Press the menu or settings button on your XM receiver. Find the FM frequency option. Scroll with your wheel (Delphi receivers), knob (Audiovox) or up-and-down buttons (Samsung) to the desired frequency. Select the frequency. Turn your vehicle radio to the same frequency you selected on your XM receiver.
- 4). Repeat Step 3 as necessary to get a clear broadcast.
