" When one is changing, how does one know that a change is taking place? When one is not changing how does one know that a change hasn't already occurred? Maybe you and I are still in a dream and have not yet awakened...
Be content with what is happening and forget about change; then you can enter into oneness with the mystery of heaven.
" Chung Tsu was born around 369 B.
C.
in Meng, one of the kingdoms of China at that time.
He was a philosopher who followed the Tao, or the way of nature, as it has been defined.
His words are still being read in China and around the world.
As you can see from this quote he was witty and imaginative, yet profound.
Taoist believe in living in the now.
Chung Tsu was explaining what it feels like to live that way.
I am always changing but if I live in the now, it happens without my worrying about it.
Physical life is all about change and growth and if I get in the way of it with my thoughts, I disconnect with it, rather than accept it.
I cut off the life giving energy that sustains me.
Being open and allowing myself the freedom of change, produces the oneness, the mystery of heaven, that appears in my life.
Freedom is change.
Freedom is free.
Freedom is me.
Chung Tsu talks about dreaming as if we are in that state when we are awake.
Certainly we have more freedom in our sleeping dreams that our wakeful ones.
While sleeping I do not interfere with the process of my consciousness.
While awake I seem to want to control, what I can not control, change.
My thoughts co-create my world.
I am changing and growing into a grander version of myself, by experiencing physical life.
By living in the now I allow myself that freedom.
Living in the now connects me with All There Is, Love.
I remember who I am and rejoice living in the heaven I had always been looking for, and found within myself.
