Cries of Silence
When I wanted initially to start writing my book I got a lot of information to read.
It was overwhelming.
I did not know where to start.
So I decided to take a leap of faith and started with the idea of writing my book.
I got confused several times by the different advices that I got via the internet, friends and family.
Even to get the name of the book was an interesting activity because it had to be original and enticing at the same time.
I wrote and published my first poem several years ago, while I was living in Houston, Texas.
It felt great when I saw it published in a book about poetry and that sparked me to write ever since.
I have written my first eBook last year.
It was about motivation and I have received nice comments from the people who read it so far.
Then I finally decided to write a novel.
It was clear for me that it was going to be a fiction-thriller.
I wanted to be easy to read yet interesting enough to keep the reader flipping avidly through the book and hopefully recommend it to others.
The name of my book is Cries of Silence.
I think the readers will know why it is named like that once they read the book.
I know that English is not my mother tongue but I put my heart into it and made every effort possible to do it right although it could have been easier for someone with a major in English language.
I lived my life mostly in English-speaking countries so I tried to keep the language as neutral as possible.
I hope I can be able to write some more articles about my book once I get some feedback from the readers and that my articles help encourage other authors to get their books finished and published too.
I travelled a lot due to my regular job as an engineer.
That made me put my writing work off sometimes but I was very motivated and continued writing my book whenever I returned home.
Cries of Silence took me a while to complete but I feel now very satisfied to see what is for me a very important accomplishment.
I specially thank my wife Judit for her support and understanding.
I contacted several publishing companies and finally decided to go with a UK-based publisher that has been coaching me for the last steps of getting it published until the book was finally published yesterday so now it is included in their website as a New Book Release! Now it is available to the public and I have been thinking about the different possibilities to be able to promote it.
I really recommend for the upcoming authors to get as much information as possible about publishing their book long before the book is finished.
