How to Make Free Paper Fans Instructions
- 1). Squeeze a pea-size drop of watercolor paint onto the paper plate. Use the brush to mix the paint with 1 tsp. of water.
- 2). Fill the eyedropper with the watered-down paint. Drop two drops of paint onto the center of the paper by gently squeezing the eyedropper's bulb.
- 3). Hold the drinking straw an inch away from the paint and use it to blow the drops of paint around on the paper, creating a design.
- 4). Choose a second color of paint and repeat steps 1 through 3, rinsing the eyedropper between colors. You can keep repeating these steps until you get the design as colorful as you like.
- 5). Let the paint dry.
- 6). Fold the paper accordion style. To do this, fold one of the short sides over half an inch and make a crease.
- 7). Turn the paper over so that the blank side is facing up and fold the same end again, another half an inch, and make a crease. Keep repeating this process of flipping and folding until the entire paper has been folded.
- 8). Keeping the paper fully folded and flat, fold the first inch of one of the short edges straight over the rest, and crease.
- 9). Paperclip the fold from step 8 to the accordion folds. Let go of the accordion folds. You now have a paper fan.
