Instructions for Constructing an Arrow of Light Arrow
- 1). Cut the wooden dowel to the desired length and carve a notch in the top for the arrowhead. Most arrows range from 24 inches to 26 inches not including the arrowhead.
- 2). Stain the dowel a brown color.
- 3). Insert arrow into the tip of the stick and glue to secure.
- 4). Glue the three colored feathers (red, blue and yellow) to the back of the arrow. Depending on where you bought these feathers, some may come with a stick side that is ready to attach to the arrow.
- 5). Wrap a brown rope (twine or string can be used) around the arrowhead and the stick. Wrap so that both ends of the rope are loose. String the blue and yellow beads onto the rope ends, alternating the bead colors as you go. Line up the bottom of the feathers with each end of loose rope and glue the feathers to the ropes with a thin strip of glue. Slide the beads down over the glue.
