How to Assemble an LCD TV Tilting Wall Mount Brackets
- 1). Run the stud finder along the wall until you find two vertical wall studs. Continue to run the stud finder along the studded area until you can get a good idea where the studs are, then outline the studs on the wall with a pencil.
- 2). Hold the mounting plate against the wall so that the holes on the corners of the mounting plate are lined up over the outlines of the wall studs. Place the lag bolts that came with the wall mount through the corner holes of the mounting plate, then tighten them into the wall by hand. When the lag bolts are in the wall enough so you do not need to hold them in place, use a wrench to tighten them the rest of the way into the wall.
- 3). Turn the TV around so that you can see a box pattern of screw holes in the center of the back of the TV. These screw holes are VESA holes. VESA holes are made to allow you to connect your TV to a wall mount. Place the wall mounting bracket on the back of the TV and line the VESA holes of the wall mounting bracket up with the VESA holes of the TV. Insert the VESA screws to connect the wall mounting bracket to the TV and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver.
- 4). Lift the TV up to the wall plate and position it so that the mounting brackets on the back of the TV enter the connections of the wall plate. Tighten the security screws in place using a Phillips screwdriver.
