You Can"t Make Someone Love You - Here"s Why

103 29
Love is a thing that should be allowed to develop on its own or at least it should be natural; you should not push, cajole or coerce someone into loving you.
It is a thing that one is born with in most cases; or one has a choice to make when it comes to whom to show affection to.
It is therefore not wise to make someone to love you because doing that amounts to trying to create it artificially.
Things that are artificial are never original: the best they could be is imitation.
Imitations cannot serve the true purpose of the original because they were never meant to be so.
There are several reasons why you should not make someone love you; some of them include: 1.
Forced love: Making an individual love you when it does not come out of his/her mind, is like forcing the love out of him/her.
Anything you force somebody to do can never give you the same result that doing it out of personal volition would give you.
2.
Pretence: The individual is likely to act in pretence just to make you feel that he/she really loves you.
The person may try to present himself/herself in such a way as to make you feel happy and relaxed: the truth of the matter is that his/her heart is really not with you.
The heart is bound to be with someone else (the one he/she actually loves), even though the person keeps pretending loving you.
3.
The test of time: Such love is not going to stand the test of time.
When there are challenges, the individual would abandon you because he/she never really loved you in the first place.
The person would not be with you when the chips are down.
4.
Slavery: Making someone love you would make the person feel like being in slavery to you.
The individual feels he/she has lost the freedom to decide whom to show affection to.
The tendency is that the person would silently contemplate rebellion since he/she concludes his/her personal freedom has been lost to someone to whom he/she has no natural affection.
5.
Aggression: Such supposed affection is going to be gradually replaced with aggression and hatred.
If one does not find satisfaction and joy doing a particular thing, that person might remain in the relationship but get annoyed with himself/herself as well as with any other person around.
6.
Expiration: True love does not expire easily but forced one does.
It would never last for a long time; it disappears as soon as it came.
It is therefore advisable to go for someone who loves you naturally and not for someone who you could make to love you.
When you go for the person who has natural affection for you, both of you are going to find joy and happiness being together.
The person is likely to show you more understanding and tolerate your weak points.
Never influence love with your money, position, power, authority or social status.
Let it be natural.
