So Where"s the Magic in Ireland?
Are you getting spring fever? Or do you have the feeling that you are missing out on the magic in your life? You know that it's the time of the year when you feel like working less and playing more.
We're seeking more connectedness, maybe even for inspiration and support with each other.
Wherever we go, whoever we meet or whatever we do, wouldn't it be wonderful if everything was done in full consciousness? I have decided that I would like to let go of a lot of things in my life, meaning inner and outer.
I have given up many of my concepts and stopped all my spiritual practices.
They've become processes and tools for my ego.
You know - if I do this or that, then there should be a certain outcome.
Who recognises this? Meditation is good for the body and for mental health.
But not for the outcome! No formula! So now it's 24/7 meditation.
The spring isn't quite here yet - and we're already looking forward to the summer.
We don't want to wait for the sun and hot days any more.
Do you also have this feeling of longing to go away somewhere? I well know the ardent desire to travel and discover other cultures and continents.
Are you ready to have an experience that will change your life? Because that's evolution! Once discovered, Ireland becomes a magical island which becomes unforgettable! I am so thankful that I come from this wonderful place.
Nowhere else will you receive such a warm welcome.
That's partly because of the wonderful ability of the Irish to find a bit of Craic (fun) in every situation.
It's also the island of the Saints.
On 17th March every year it's St.
Patrick's Day, a day in which this Saint is fully celebrated.
St.
Patrick was the one who, as the legend goes, drove all of the snakes out of Ireland.
That's why there are no snakes in Ireland! And it's always so GREEN on this international St.
Patrick's Day - from New York to New Zealand, South Africa to Shanghai: on the Irish National holiday the colour green is definitely dominant.
As I've already started talking about Ireland, I must mention that there are a few places where you can get a personal experience of the Christian inheritance in the country.
There are remote pilgrim sites, modest little churches in silent valleys, holy wells, Celtic high crosses and century old monasteries, that radiate fascination and magic.
Irish spirituality has always had a close association with the Ancient Goddesses and Celtic heritage because unlike many other ancient lands, Ireland has never forgotten its past or history.
In tales handed down from generation to generation, Ireland enriched its past and saw glory in what it was and where it was going.
Ireland is a land of hidden mysteries, with many places of interest.
The Skellig Islands in the outer southwest of Ireland offer a special sight.
Especially from a chocolatey view of things.
The Skellig Chocolate Company is picturesquely situated in St.
Finion's Bay right in front of the uninhabited humps of islands on which monks used to live totally withdrawn from the world so that they could meditate out into the endless ocean.
That alone is worth a visit! Such an experience has a most definite influence on you.
You will not only recognise familiarity but new things will inspire you.
You will wallow in history and most probably you will enjoy being in the present moment, surrounded by impressive surroundings.
No formula for life, not even an inkling of one - a different country can work magic!
