How to Insert a Micro SD External Memory Card in a Samsung Rant
- 1). Hold the phone with the back of the device facing your body and the top of the phone facing up towards the ceiling.
- 2). Gently apply pressure on the back cover of the phone while sliding the cover in a downward motion, this will remove the battery cover.
- 3). Look on the left side of the phones spine, directly below the volume buttons you will see the Micro SD card slot. The slot is labeled with a picture of a Micro SD card and the words "Micro SD."
- 4). Place your card in the phone based on the diagram shown next to the memory slot. Start by holding your Micro SD card in an upright position next to the slot, the small "cut corner" area should be showing in the same direction as the diagram.
- 5). Gently slide your Micro SD card into the slot using very little pressure. If the card does not enter the slot make sure you are inserting the card exactly as shown on the printed banner.
- 6). Replace the phones battery cover once the card is installed and the process will be complete.
