If you want to know how to stop having negative thoughts read on and discover how to break the cycle and start thinking positively.
Have a look at your house, the objects and your belongings in it, the decor, the lighting.
Anything in the house that has negative feelings attached to it get rid of it.
Make the house airy, and as open spaced as possible.
Have the deco and lighting bright and warm coloured.
Have you any friends or acquaintances or colleagues that tend to drag you down and leave you feeling depressed, either by criticising you or by seeing the worst side of everything? If you have try to keep them at arms length and spend less time with them.
Hang out with people who inspire you and entertain you and who give off good vibes.
Exercise a little, if nothing else get in your local park or woods and have a good brisk walk every day.
Get some fresh country air into your lungs.
Spend time before you go to sleep at night reinforcing positive images about yourself and your life.
Think of all the achievements, however small, think of how good they made you feel.
Go to sleep on these images and thoughts.
When you awake write down all the things you wish to do and to achieve that day.
Write down what you are looking forward to, and during the day keep these notes in your pocket and have a peek at them to remember your goals.
If negative thoughts start to impact upon you, firmly block them by bringing the positive feelings from the previous night back into your mind and hold them there.
Take a vow that you will now be in sole charge of your life from this day forward.
