Golf GPS – 3 Biggest Mistakes a Golfer Makes When Using a Golf GPS

101 47
If you are a golfer who has a golf GPS system or is considering purchasing a unit you will want to avoid making the following three mistakes.

#1 – Not Recharging Battery or Having Extra Batteries – Most golfers who have a golf GPS unit that has a rechargeable battery will forget to recharge the battery before their next round of golf. It is very frustrating to be out playing a round only to have your golf GPS unit die in the middle of the round. This is why it is recommended to have car charger for your rechargeable golf GPS. You can charge the unit on the way to the golf course. Now if your unit just takes regular batteries it is impairative that you always carry spare batteries in your golf bag or in the golf GPS carrying case.

#2 – No Carrying Case – When some golfers buy a golf GPS they neglect to purchase a carrying case to store the unit. A carrying case will protect your unit when not in use. It is great to store your golf GPS in your golf bag once it has been placed in a carrying case.

#3 – No Screen Protector – A screen protector is a great way to protect your golf GPS investment. Many units have a screen protector available with anti-glare that won't interfere with the touch screen capabilities of the unit.

So, as you can see, these three big mistakes, not having extra or charged batteries, no carrying case, and no screen protector that most golfers make when using a golf GPS are very preventable.
