Directions

• 1). Tie a single knot about 3 inches from one end of the cord.
  
  
• 2). Slide on the beads in the following order: black, red, white, blue, green and gold.
  
  
• 3). Tie another single knot after the gold bead.
  
  
• 4). Use the bracelet to share your faith! You can explain to others what each bead represents:
  -Black bead: Sin separates us from God (Romans 3:23)
  -Red bead: Jesus shed his blood on the cross to pay for our sins. (Romans 5:8)
  -White bead: The blood of Christ washes us pure and white as snow when we accept Him as Lord. (1 John 1:7)
  -Blue bead: Water baptism is an outward sign of our faith (Romans 10:9-11)
  -Green bead: Our faith grows [like a plant from a seed] as we pray and read the Bible (2 Peter 3:18)
  -Gold bead: We will spend eternity in heaven with the Lord (Revelation 21:1-3)
  
  
• 5). You may also choose to use symbolism for the knots in the cord. The first knot is sometimes said to represent that God loved each one of us and planned our lives before we were even born (John 10:10). The final knot may symbolize that when we die, we will stand before God in judgment (Hebrews 9:27).
  
  
• 6). After sharing your bracelet with another person, you may offer to say a prayer with them.
