    Mexico

For example, retirees who want to live their golden years by the water can choose from the calm, Caribbean locations of Playa del Carmen or the Gulf Coast Puebla of Merida. Those who enjoy the high surfs can settle down in the Pacific coastal towns of Manzanillo, Tepic or other locations in the southern state, Oaxaca.
