Removing Etched Marks From Travertine Floors
- 1). Sprinkle the polishing powder over the etched area a travertine floor. Spread the powder 2 inches out from the etched marks.
- 2). Fill a spray bottle with distilled water and mist the polishing powder. Rub the dampened polishing powder with a soft cloth. Apply light pressure with the palm of your hand and rub in a gentle circular motion.
- 3). Continue rubbing until the travertine is dry with a light shine. Repeat the process if needed until you have removed the etched marks.
- 4). Clean entire travertine floors with an approved natural stone cleaner and soft, lint-free cloth. Allow the floor to air-dry naturally.
