I have been in network marketing for just under 4 years now.
I have bought leads in the past multiple times and have even become an affiliate to the lead vendor program.
If fact, one program allowed me to email up to 5,000 leads per day using their bulk emailer and still haven't made the money expected from just .
5% of those leads turning out to be real.
Below I'm going to talk about three reasons why you should not buy leads for your network marketing business ever! Go in debt The first reason is buying leads becomes very costly.
You would think network marketing is a numbers game or just talk to enough people.
While it is true that you can play the numbers game and it you do talk to enough people, you will find a level of success, however you can accomplish the same without buying leads.
You are already investing your money into your auto-ship or monthly costs and buying leads shouldn't be added on top of that.
If you learn how to ask questions in a certain way, you can learn how to generate an unlimited amount of leads.
Nine times out of ten recycled Most of the leads I called have been called before.
Most of the people I did email, have been emailed before and that was from the one who were nice enough to reply.
The leads I bought were recycled plain and simple.
In fact, what happens is if you become an affiliate to a lead distributorship you become a lead that is sold to other buyers.
When I joined one of these programs, I used the leads and I soon discover that other buyers were calling me because I was a lead that was sold to other business owners.
It's simply a matter of turning the buyers of their lead program into leads for other buyers of their lead program.
Rely on buying leads vice generating your own Lastly, I feel that to be a true independent network marketer a vital skill is the ability to generate your own leads.
Offline, online, via social media, etc, learning how to generate your own leads will payback huge dividends and is a vital skill to teach your new distributors.
After all, their success is your continued success.
Keeping these things, I would highly recommend learning how to generate your own leads and teach your distributors to do the same.
This will give you true independence and security knowing that no matter what may happen with any company, you will have the necessary skills to thrive in any situation.
