New Year, New You, New Business?
So here we are at the start of another new year, wondering what it has in store for us? Last new year I decided it was time to make some positive changes and put my best foot forward, I wanted more from life, more money, more time and more freedom for myself.
I was also frustrated with my job and wanted to try something more creative and challenging. I think we all need to challenge ourselves sometimes to order achieve success - it doesn't just happen for us we need to make it happen for ourselves. This is what I set out to achieve.
This was not my only resolution I have to say, I also wanted to buy my own house and have more holidays (I wanted to marry Prince William too but Kate has beaten me to it!!) The luxury lifestyle I dreamed about could be a reality, I simply needed an extra income.
I considered going back to university and retraining, I also thought about applying for another job with better prospects. But I was worried about the risk involved in doing this, especially in these difficult economic times....I began thinking outside of the box.
After some careful research and many discussions with friends and family, I realised that I could start my own online marketing business for very little out lay. I could also do this alongside my current job in my own time, and if it was successful go full-time with it.
It took me a long time to make the decision to go ahead, but when I did I knew I had made the right choice and haven't looked back since. Marketing online is providing me with new challenges everyday, as well as a great sense of pride, independence and satisfaction.
I am creating something for myself, it was a new year, a new me and a new business. Now in 2011 and I am forging ahead with my work and hoping to make some serious money. Times might be hard but I am not prepared to be one of those people who are really struggling to get by.
Internet marketing is easy, there is plenty of help, advice and support on how to get started, not to mention a vast amount of niche products to be marketed. By marketing something that you like or feel passionate about, I don't see how you can fail to be successful.
