    • 1). Go under the vehicle and find the clutch, which is the main component on the driver side, beneath the driver's seat. Locate the bleeder valve, a small valve at the bottom of the clutch and the only valve that can be accessed from underneath the car. Attach the hose to the valve.

    • 2). Fill the bowl or container with some water and place the other end of the hose into it, making sure the hose remains submerged in the liquid.

    • 3). Ask your helper to push the clutch pedal and hold it down until you tell him to release it. Make sure your helper avoids pumping the clutch.

    • 4). Use a wrench to open the bleeder valve. Observe the fluid that comes out from the hose into the bucket, watching for bubbles that indicate there is air remaining in the system. Wait a few seconds, then shut the valve quickly and ask your assistant to let out the clutch pedal, releasing it slowly.

    • 5). Repeat this procedure until there are no air bubbles formed in the fluid that comes through the hose.

    • 6). Use the wrench to close the bleeder valve. Remove the hose from the nipple of the valve.
