• The 2007 Chevrolet Corvette is a sports car with an eight-cylinder engine that is available as either a coupe or convertible. The coupe comes in the LT1, LT2, LT3 and Z06 LZ1 versions. • Except for the Z06 versions, the Corvette features a 6.0-liter V8 engine with 400 horsepower. The Z06 models have a 7-liter V8 engine with 505 horsepower. All versions come standard with a six-speed manual overdrive transmission, and all except the Z06 versions have the option of an automatic transmission. Torque is measured at 400 ft.-lb. at 4,400 rpm for non-Z06 versions, and 470 ft.-lb. at 4,800 rpm for the Z06.

• The Z06 versions get 16 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. The manual transmission versions of the remaining editions get 18 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The automatic-transmission versions get 17 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.
