How to Remove the Instrument Panel of a PT Cruiser
- 1). Remove the two screws on the underside of the top of the instrument panel cowl. You may nee to tilt the steering wheel down all the way to access these screws.
- 2). Wedge the tip of the trim removal tool underneath the top of the cowl where the trim meets the dash. Pry the cowl off the instrument panel.
- 3). Remove the four screws that hold the instrument panel in place, and slide the instrument panel forward.
- 4). Remove the electrical connectors from the back of the panel, and remove the instrument panel.
