How to Sew Index Cards
- 1). Use a hole punch to make five or six holes along the edges of each index card.
- 2). Cut four strands of yarn that are about 11 or 12 inches in length.
- 3). Dip one end of each of the yarn strands (about 1 inch) into a small amount of white school glue. Compress and roll the end with the glue between your fingers and allow it to dry on a piece of waxed paper. This will cause the yarn to become stiff and will make it easier to thread through the holes in the index cards.
- 4). Tie a large knot in the ends of the yarn strands that do not have the glue on them.
- 5). Insert the yarn through the back of the index card, pulling it though until the knot catches. Proceed to sew the yarn around the perimeter of the index card.
