How to Get Cactus Needles Out of Pants
- 1). Shine a flashlight on the pants to find the exact location of the needles on the pants.
- 2). Hold a magnifying glass over the area where the needles are stuck to the pants. Roll duct tape around your fingers with the adhesive side facing outward. Press the tape down against the pants where the needles are located. Roll your hand over to pull finer needles out of your pants.
- 3). Grip the end of a needle with tweezers and pull the needle up and away from the fabric. This method works best for needles that are obviously visible. If the needles are extremely thick or resistant, use precision pliers to pull them out of the fabric.
- 4). Wipe the ends of the tweezers or pliers onto a paper towel to remove the needle.
- 5). Repeat the previous two steps to remove all remaining needles that are clinging to the surface of the pants. Discard the paper towel.
