How to Fold a Tablecloth Scarf
- 1). Check the tablecloth for stains. If you see stains, wash your tablecloth scarf in a light washing cycle with gentle liquid laundry detergent. Treat tough stains with a stain removal pen.
- 2). Dry the scarf in the dryer unless otherwise directed on the fabric tag.
- 3). Lay the scarf on an ironing board. Iron the scarf on a low heat.
- 4). Spread the scarf out on a table. Fold the scarf in half. Half the scarf again until the fabric is small enough to put it in the storage box.
- 5). Place the fabric in the box and put the lid on top. Store the scarf in a dry pantry drawer or closet.
- 1). Lay the empty paper towel tube on one end of the scarf. Start at one end, rolling the fabric slowly until all the fabric is rolled up on the tube.
- 2). Unroll and re-roll if necessary to roll up the fabric tightly.
- 3). Secure the fabric closed with a silk ribbon bow. Do not tie the bow too tightly to avoid wrinkling.
- 4). Place the rolled fabric in a storage bin. Place the lid on top.
