Polish

• Commercial polishes are capable of shining and polishing natural tile floors. Purchase a commercial product that is designed specifically for your type of floor, whether it is granite or marble. These products will dissolve soap residue and other grime on the floor to reveal the polished surface on the stone. Though manufacturer directions will differ, generally mix the polish with water, and apply an even layer to the tile. Let it dry completely, and apply another coat if directed. Some types of polish should only be used on sealed tile floors.
