How to Get Sharpie Marks Off of a Wall
- 1). Spray or squirt hand sanitizer containing alcohol onto a folded wad of paper towels. Alternatively, pour rubbing alcohol onto the paper towels.
- 2). Press the damp paper towels against the Sharpie marks on the wall.
- 3). Blot the marker stain to lift ink from the wall, using fresh paper towels and more hand sanitizer or rubbing alcohol as needed. Avoid scrubbing or rubbing the stain, as this will smear the ink on the wall.
- 4). Blot the wall dry to remove residual hand sanitizer. Rubbing alcohol will evaporate in approximately 10 minutes.
