Use Microsoft Office, OfficeSuite, and Other Office Software Files in Evernote
Microsoft Office die-hards should probably consider working in Microsoft OneNote rather than Evernote, since OneNote is considered part of the Office suite.
That said, here are some things you can do with Office and Evernote, as well as a few ideas for other office software suites tasks. You may even decide to use Evernote instead of more traditional office software programs.
Using Microsoft Office Files with Evernote
On a desktop, you should be able to drag and drop Microsoft Office, LibreOffice, and other office software suite files from your documents list right into an Evernote note as pictured above.
You can then open those files to make edits in the native program.
Using Evernote as a Word Processor, Spreadsheet, or Presentation Program Replacement
Rather than fuss over using Word and PowerPoint and other files in Evernote, some users have made the switch to authoring most documents in Evernote.
This makes sense if you do not need a bunch of formatting for text documents, for example.

Using OfficeSuite for Evernote (Android)
With OfficeSuite Pro and Evernote, you can keep quick typed, handwritten, audio, or video notes, including creating check box lists and attaching popular file types right into the same note interface (including Microsoft Office documents, PDFs, images, audio, and more).
This is an app option for Android mobile users. Unfortunately, working with iOS versions of Office and Evernote is not readily available.
OfficeSuite comes preloaded on a bunch of mobile devices including these manufacturers: Sony, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Polaroid, ViewSonic, Kyocera, and more.
While users who do have OfficeSuite included on their device will likely need to upgrade to Pro for full features (you should be able to do a free trial to check it out), some features are available for free.
You can then use OfficeSuite for viewing and editing documents, spreadsheets, presentations and PDFs attached to Evernote notes. Remember, you can keep all these different file formats in one Evernote notebook.
