Three Ways to Maximize an Explorer Window

• 1). Click the icon shaped like a hollow square in the upper-right corner of the window.
  
  
• 2). Right-click the taskbar button at the bottom of the window, e.g. "Microsoft Internet Explorer" for Internet Explorer or "My Computer" for Windows Explorer, and click "Maximize."
  
  
• 3). Press "Alt," the space bar, and then "X" on the keyboard.
  
  

Always Maximize Internet Explorer

• 1). Click the "Start" button. Right-click the shortcut for Internet Explorer, and then click "Properties."
  
  
• 2). Click the "Shortcut" tab.
  
  
• 3). Click the pull-down menu next to "Run," and select "Maximized."
  
  
• 4). Click "OK."
  
  
• 5). Launch Internet Explorer. The browser will always automatically open in a maximized window.
