    • 1). Connect your USB wireless adapter to a free USB port on your computer, and then insert the included drivers disc into your computer's disc drive. Installation prompts should appear on the screen.

    • 2). Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the driver installation for your USB wireless adapter. Once the installation is complete, you are ready to connect to your Wi-Fi router.

    • 3). Open the Start menu, click "Connect to" and then select "Wireless" from the "Show" list. Select your wireless network from the list of available wireless networks, and then click "Connect." If your network is password protected, you will now be prompted to enter the password. Type in the password and hit the "Enter" key. You will now be connected to the network.
